I love spotlighting historic Southern venues and Drayton Hall in Charleston, South Carolina, is hands-down one of my all-time favorites. I still remembering taking an elementary field trip to the plantation ... pulling up in the old, rumbling school bus and seeing a landscape unfold before me ... transporting me to a different time, if only for a few hours.
