Faux Wedding | Bohemian Styled Winter Holiday Wedding in Columbus, Ohio

Loving this wintery faux wedding shoot today - my favorite detail is the red treehouse designed by Pete Nelson {have you seen him on Animal Planet? Amazing!} ... that gothic window is just beyond! / Sweet photos by Nicole Leone' Miller.

Says Nicole, "The inspiration was a Bohemian Christmas Wedding for those brides who want to have a winter wedding. Having photographed weddings for a couple years, I've had the pleasure of working with some talented wedding vendors and businesses. I always thought that if I got all of my favorite vendors together and worked on the same wedding we'd create something absolutely beautiful! So, we did just that!

The lovely owners of The Grand Barn Wedding Center in Mohican opened their venue for our shoot. Laura and Kevin Mooney just started their dream business of owning a venue in the hills of Mohican where they hold all types of events but specialize in weddings. The property also has two personally designed treehouses by Pete Nelson of Seattle, Washington. You may have caught some of his work on Animal Planet!

A fellow classmate of [mine], Cierra Cunningham, of Cierra Lauren Designs, handmade both of the wedding dresses. When I asked her where she got her inspiration and supplies, she replied, "just some old things around the house, like fabric from other vintage dresses or pieces from an old Christmas wreath." She is now in the process of manufacturing her own wedding gown line. She also made that gorgeous floral head crown and the groom's boutonniere.

The jewelry was designed by Jen and Jason Diehl, of The Ritzy Rose, in Pickerington, Ohio. Jen is incredibly inspired by the 1920s-1930s, and the 1950s- early 1960s. After creating brooch bouquets for a celebrity wedding and growing their clientele to brides across the globe, Jen and Jason have both left the corporate world and work from their home-based studio full time.
